Lately I find myself looking for things to make myself feel better. As I get no or little affection any more I look for instant gratification in other ways, like online shopping. I know, I know this is not necessarily a good thing. I live in a little house that’s already full but cannot help myself at times. As I have a disability it’s hard to get out and walk or go to a gym. My friends and family live far away. However I don’t want to turn into a hoarder either. Just say in’.

I'm disabled too and can't exercise, so I get that part. If you want a way to feel good that's less likely to turn you into a hoarder, I recommend video games (just don't play the ones where they keep asking you for money!). :)
Connecting with friends via video chats is another healthy outlet for me. I make it a point to schedule the next chat at the end of each call so too much time doesn't go by (or set up a regular weekly day & time to "meet").

Can you join an online group for a hobby or something you like to do that meets virtually?
How about knitting blankets for hospitals or veterans. Donate time to a charity by helping to raise $ via an online campaign.
Hope this helps.

I found myself turning to some mindless phone games to clear my head. I made sure to choose games that didn't cost money and were easy to win. My favorite was a game called "Flood It." It was stress-free and enjoyable, allowing me to just click and unwind.
Good luck to you!

I second the video game idea. The only reason I have survived is playing video games online. When I’m mad, I shoot things, lol. It helps. And my player is my alter ego. I build houses and fantasize about how I could live there alone without anyone else doing fuckery bullshit.

I also play an online game. We have guilds with 40 members and over the years, I've made friends with several.
An old co-worker of mine found a stuffed car pattern she could make which used chenille bedspread material for the cat body. She'd make them and donate to the police. When they had to work with children, they used the stuffed animals to help comfort the child.
